"Offensive Security" courses maintain the developers of BackTrack. We believe Security education doesn't need to cost a fortune. Simple as that.
I would like to join one of the courses. How do I pay the enrollment fee?
We accept payments through paypal, or major Credit Cards (via paypal).
What happens once I pay ?
Once payment is made and verified, you will recieve a confirmation mail, ensuring yourself a place in next course. On the first day of the course you will receive a username / password combination to the online training labs and a download link to the training videos. You will be able to watch the videos in the comfort of your home, and discuss the classes and exercises with other students, using the Internet Relay Chat and private messaging.
How long are the courses?
The "Offensive Security 101" vidoes are 7 hours long. Our students report an avarage of 50-60 hours of lab excercises.
What are the pre-requisites of the "Offensive Security" course ?
A solid understanding of TCP / IP, networking and reasonable Linux skills. More information can be found in the course description documentation.
Why should I opt for the OSCP certification ?
Once obtained, the OSCP certification provides testament of your Penetration Testing skills in a real life environment.
What is the difference between other certifications such as CEH (eCouncil) and OSCP
?
The OSCP is one of very few certifications which actually proves practical ethical hacking skills. Interestingly, the eCouncil and other similar course providers use BackTrack in their courses.
