Cracking the Perimeter – Online!
Long overdue, our live course “Cracking the Perimeter” (CTP) is finally going online. Our ETA for the live course is the 3rd of June, 2009. We have an outstanding waiting list for CTP online, so it might take a while for registration to open to the public.
This course is especially exciting, as there is nothing similar to it in the security training arena today. We’ve combined our most interesting penetration testing scenarios, and formulated them into in depth, hardcore training exercises. CTP aims at developing your lateral thinking as well as your technical skills, as almost all of the exercises we present require both precision and creativity to overcome.
The topics covered in the course are:
- Advanced Web application attacks
- PE file code injection
- PE Signature Obfuscation (Antivirus Bypass)
- Advanced Exploitation Techniques – Bypassing ASLR
- Journey to 0day – Case Study#1 (TFTP)
- Journey to 0day – Case Study#2 (NNM)
- Routing attacks (GRE Tunnels)
As the topics suggest, the prerequisites for this course are steep. A full mastery of our Pentesting with BackTrack (or equivalent) is required. You should be comfortable with Windows Exploit development and use of Ollydbg.
The course leads to the OSCE certification (Offensive Security Certified Expert), possibly the most technical security certification in the public market. The certification will prove practical ability of the holder to discover vulnerabilities and exploit them using technical, creative and unusual exploitation techniques.
We will update our website with new information about this course early July. Keep your pants on!
